Hubble has achieved finalist status in the Proptech Awards 2024 for Environment & Energy Efficiency, in partnership with the AdaptWest Climate Change Adaptation Plan and MyCoolHome.
Over 18 months of collaboration with local government, the team developed MyCoolHome, an AI-powered digital tool designed to help residents adapt to climate change and improve sustainability practices.
What This Means for Australian Real Estate
MyCoolHome enables residents to assess their homes and receive personalised upgrade recommendations for more resilient living. The collaboration has generated more than 10,000 home energy efficiency upgrade suggestions for residents.
The platform also helps councils track and enhance sustainable efforts around thermal performance and climate adaptation while collecting data focused on CO2 savings and future performance indicators.
Boosting Property Value
Research reveals that energy-efficient homes command significant market premiums. Properties with energy-efficient features sell for approximately $112,000 more than conventional homes, while units fetch $70,000 additional value.
Green homes attract more buyer interest, resulting in faster sales cycles compared to non-efficient properties — a trend accelerated by rising living costs.

Future enhancements will include weather performance assessment features and expanded council implementation support.
